1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using badgetothebone.com (the "Site") or the Badge To The Bone mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or App. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone who accesses any feature of the Site or App.
2. About Badge To The Bone
Badge To The Bone is a law enforcement mental wellness podcast and community platform. The Site and App provide access to podcast episode archives, community discussion (The Bullpen), private messaging, a resource directory, and personal features such as bookmarks and listening history. Podcast audio content is hosted by Spotify and other platforms; all rights to that content remain with the respective creators and rights holders.
3. User Accounts
Certain features (comments, The Bullpen, private messages, bookmarks, and episode likes) require signing in with a Google or Apple account. By signing in you agree that:
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You will keep your sign-in credentials secure and not share access with others.
- The information you provide is accurate and you are at least 13 years of age.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account data at any time from the Data Deletion page.
4. User-Generated Content
The Site and App allow you to post content including Bullpen topics and comments, episode comments, private messages, and profile information. By submitting content you:
- Confirm you own or have the right to share the content.
- Grant MDPSync, LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on the Site and App.
- Agree not to post anything that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, or infringing on another's intellectual property.
- Agree not to post spam, advertisements, or off-topic promotional material.
We may remove any content that violates these rules at our sole discretion, without notice. You retain ownership of content you post; we do not claim ownership.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the Site without permission.
- Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data you are not authorized to access.
- Use the Site in any way that could damage, overload, or impair its operation.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or tools to interact with Site features in a way not intended for human use.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
6. Intellectual Property
The Badge To The Bone name, logo, site design, and original written content are owned by MDPSync, LLC. Podcast audio content belongs to its respective creators and is subject to each platform's terms of service. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our express written permission.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and App are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the Site is at your own risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MDPSync, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site or App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
